CODE OF CONDUCT

(With effect from 20 April 2011)

This Code of Conduct ("the Code") shall apply to Global Job Exchange and all members (Recruitment Professionals and Employers) utilising the services of Global Job Exchange.

The Code in no way is intended as a complete set of rules for appropriate behaviour or strict legal compliance. Rather it is to be used as a guide to the sound principles of proper conduct. In addition to the Code, Global Job Exchange also requires compliance with broader legal, civil, moral and ethical standards as well as other specific terms and conditions of membership.

OBJECTIVE OF THE CODE

The Code has been established to create clear guidelines on basic, minimum standards of behaviour and conduct, and to ensure that each individual is aware of their responsibility to respect and adhere to these standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In all dealings conducted with, and through Global Job Exchange, each party agrees to:

  • a) Act honestly and with integrity at all times;
  • b) Act in the best interest of other members, and candidates associated with Global Job Exchange.
  • c) Represent itself truthfully and in good faith;
  • d) Members will not engage in practices, which may adversely affect Global Job Exchange or its members. This shall include, but it not limited to:
  • i) Posting of jobs that are misrepresented, illegitimate or do not exist;
  • ii) Disclosure of information or content which is accessible only for Global Job Exchange members.
  • iii) Disclosure or distribution of personal information from any parties without consent.
